Christmas List Email to Mom
Timing is an interesting thing.
Today, in the midst of my 21 day decluttering challenge, my mom asked me what i wanted for Christmas. She's planning to start shopping soon. Isn't the whole purpose of decluttering to make room for more shit? Here's what i sent:
I'd like to preempt this list with the following disclaimer:
I DON'T WANT ANYTHING FOR CHRISTMAS. I'D PREFER THAT MONEY STAYED IN YOUR POCKET OR WENT TO A GOOD CAUSE.
With that said, these are items i have on my radar to purchase for myself (in no particular order)
Again, i really don't need anything. You do enough. I'm 27 years old.
- Vitamix blender or a similar bad-ass blender or food processor
- Clothes (only purchase organic or sustainable, local if possible. I don't want any clothing that doesn't meet these criteria as i'm trying to replace everything i currently own)
- Point-and-shoot Digital Camera (not a cheap one. the ones i'm looking at are $400 or more)
- Fire-proof safe or filing cabinet
- "Eggbeaters" bicycle pedals and shoes
- Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, etc)
- Nice foldable chairs (like you guys have)
